Nitin Bhayana is 47 years of age and is one of the Director/ Co-Founder of the Company. Nitin is responsible for providing technical assistance and advice with respect to design, planning and construction of the project in conjunction with the project architect/ services consultants.
After working in IT consulting in 1996, Nitin joined his family business as Director of Bhayana Group, with interests in civil construction, engineering, real estate and building material distribution. In 1999, Nitin set up a joint venture for retail and distribution of luxury furniture across India with US$ 10bn group - Mondragon S Co op, Spain.
Nitin is also the Managing Director of Bhayana Interiors and Furnishers Pvt. Ltd., a group company promoted by the Bhayana family with interests in real estate in New Delhi, Gurgaon and Mohali. It is a shareholder in the flagship Bhayana Builders.
Nitin is also the Director Operations of Bhayana Builders which is one of the oldest and most respected civil construction company’s of India. Bhayana Builders has constructed large parts of New Delhi and the NCR since the early 1950’s. Key projects included the Aradhana Apartments, Parliament annex, J. N. University, Embassy for Finland, China and Tanzania, Hotel Imperial renovations, institutional buildings like Sri Ram School and Alliance Francaise in New Delhi, Ibis hotel in Gurgaon, DLF Club for DLF, Oakwood Estate, Carlton Estate and Western Heights in Gurgaon etc. Bhayana Builders is currently executing the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in Amritsar, Premier Inn Hotel in New Delhi, NIIT SEZ in Greater Noida, Fortis Medicity in Gurgaon etc.
Nitin is also an avid art collector and writer and has been a columnist with Hindustan Times and Business Standard since 1998. He has lectured on various aspects of the art and infrastructure at ISB, Hyderabad, Management Development Institute, Gurgaon and at Wolfsberg, Switzerland.
Nitin is a graduate of the London School of Economics.
